Whitecap Alpine hiking trips take place during the summer, in the mountains of British Columbia, Canada. Choose your own adventure with either a private lodge booking, a curated experience or a mixed group hiking trip guided by our ACMG guides. Whitecap Alpine hiking trips are based out of McGillivray Pass Lodge, which is located at 1,860m in the South Chilcotin Mountains of British Columbia. Guests gain quick access to the remote lodge via a short helicopter ride, staged out of the Pemberton airport, 30-minutes drive north of Whistler. These lodge-based 3 to 4 night-trips are what you want them to be. From strolling through meadows, and taking a refreshing dip in an alpine lake, to alpine trail running, scrambling, and epic ridge hikes. Children are more than welcome and adventures are suitable for everyone, from beginner hikers to advanced hikers who love big days and alpine circuits. All trips include heli-flight to and from the lodge, are fully catered and guided by ACMG hiking guides. Guests will learn about local flora, fauna, history and First Nations’ traditions, while exploring the stunning alpine landscape.
More InfoExplore further into more challenging terrain by moving off trail for long distances. Scramble up mountains, walk along ridge lines and bag a peak or two in the process.
Reserve the whole Lodge for a private group summer getaway. Be it a family gathering, birthday party, annual friends getaway or health retreat, we would love to help make it happen.
Book a solo trip, or gather together friends to join you for an idyllic summer escape.
