Wedding Venue Fee:

Monday – Friday $35 599 +gst

Friday – Monday $34 199 +gst

Includes: Lodge rental, accommodation, staff prepared for a wedding and 500lbs of wedding supplies (size restrictions apply)

Per Person Fee:

Monday – Friday $935 +gst

Friday – Monday $885 +gst

Includes: Flights with our standard per person guest weight limit for bags, all food along with special wedding day menu.  Minimum 13 guests to secure your buyout and have the lodge exclusively.  Rooms sleep anywhere from 2-6 people.  There are 2 Yurts and 5 private rooms in Woodhall and 3 rooms in Rivendell.  You can bring a maximum of 30 guests, includes all adults and children other than Whitecap staff (your vendors would be included in this number).   Recommended group size is 20.  Also includes 3 full days of hiking with a certified guide and transportation to and from our staging area.

Not Included: Lodging in Pemberton or Whistler prior to your arrival (we can help arrange this) and any specialty or alcoholic beverages (you may bring your own drinks).

 

Add On’s: Extra helicopter time, extra guide fee for groups larger than 20, extra shuttle fee for groups larger than 15, food upgrades for wedding.

 

Booking Policy:

At the time of booking you are required to pay a 50% deposit to secure your booking.

Prior to payment of deposits, you will be asked to fill out an electronic waiver of liability & registration form.  Full payment is required 10 weeks prior to your trip dates.

*Credit card processing fees and fuel surcharges may apply.

Cancellation policy: 

If your cancellation request is received more than 10 weeks before the start date, the deposit will be refunded, minus a $275 booking fee per space booked. The final balance is due 10 weeks prior to arrival. If the cancellation request is received between 4 – 10 weeks prior to your trip dates, 50% of the total trip cost will be refunded. If the cancellation request is less than 4 weeks from the start of the trip, the cost of the trip cannot be refunded. 

All cancellation requests must be received in writing to summer@whitecapalpine.ca. Whitecap recommends that trip cancellation  and interruption insurance, including medical coverage be purchased within 24 hours of booking your trip.

If the trip is cancelled by Whitecap, the full cost of the trip will be refunded.

It is your responsibility to make sure you can travel to British Columbia before booking the trip.

Includes: Flights with our standard per person guest weight limit for bags, all food along with special wedding day menu.  Minimum 13 guests to secure your buyout and have the lodge exclusively.  Rooms sleep anywhere from 2-6 people.  There are 2 Yurts and 5 private rooms in Woodhall and 3 rooms in Rivendell.  You can bring a maximum of 30 guests, includes all adults and children other than Whitecap staff (your vendors would be included in this number).   Recommended group size is 20.  Also includes 3 full days of hiking with a certified guide and transportation to and from our staging area.

Not Included: Lodging in Pemberton or Whistler prior to your arrival (we can help arrange this) and any specialty or alcoholic beverages (you may bring your own drinks).

 

Add On’s: Extra helicopter time, extra guide fee for groups larger than 20, extra shuttle fee for groups larger than 15, food upgrades for wedding.

 

Booking Policy:

At the time of booking you are required to pay a 50% deposit to secure your booking.

Prior to payment of deposits, you will be asked to fill out an electronic waiver of liability & registration form.  Full payment is required 10 weeks prior to your trip dates.

Cancellation policy: 

If your cancellation request is received more than 10 weeks before the start date, the deposit will be refunded, minus a $275 booking fee per space booked. The final balance is due 10 weeks prior to arrival. If the cancellation request is received between 4 – 10 weeks prior to your trip dates, 50% of the total trip cost will be refunded. If the cancellation request is less than 4 weeks from the start of the trip, the cost of the trip cannot be refunded. 

All cancellation requests must be received in writing to summer@whitecapalpine.ca. Whitecap recommends that trip cancellation  and interruption insurance, including medical coverage be purchased within 24 hours of booking your trip.

If the trip is cancelled by Whitecap, the full cost of the trip will be refunded.

It is your responsibility to make sure you can travel to British Columbia before booking the trip. 

There are no other refunds for trip interruptions, poor weather, or acts of force majeure. Sign up for the evacuation fund is included under this rate.

Whitecap Weddings

Escape the city crowds, surround yourself with your favourite people and celebrate your love. A wedding at Whitecap Alpine is for adventurous couples looking for a unique experience in the backcountry.

Your group will have exclusive use of Whitecap’s McGillivray Pass lodge. Located in the South Chilcotin Mountains surrounding Pemberton, Whitecap is the perfect summer retreat.

Alpine flowers, calm lakes and stunning peaks provide the perfect backdrop for exploring before your ceremony and recharging afterwards. 

Included in your Whitecap experience:

  • Return helicopter flights and a shuttle to/from the staging area from the Pemberton office
  • ACMG-trained Hiking Guide
  • Private lodge rental
  • Three meals per day prepared by our chef

Lodging

Located in the subalpine of McGillivray Pass, the lodge includes everything our guests expect from a modern yet rustic cabin in the mountains.

Amenities include:

  • A hot shower
  • Lodge sauna
  • Wood-burning fireplace
  • Heated out-houses
  • Wifi $15 per person (unless you want to unplug)
  • Two sleeping cabins and three yurts to comfortably accommodate up to 15 guests
  • More guests can be added upon special request

Creative Ideas

We love working with couples and their wedding planners to create the perfect experience. Bring the idea to us, and we’ll work with you to make it happen.

From flowers to decor, a musician to start the party and a photographer or videographer to capture special moments. The sky’s the limit – actually, we have access to helicopters, so we’re not limited by the sky either! Additional costs apply.           

Transport

Guests meet at the Whitecap Office located at the Pemberton Airport to park vehicles. We will board the shuttle to the Mountain View staging area near Birkenhead Lake. Guests take a short helicopter ride from the staging area up to McGillivray Pass Lodge.

Guests can pack a maximum of 60 lbs per person, split into two bags.

  • One overnight bag in a soft-packed duffle bag with no wheels (40 lbs max weight)
  • Day hiking pack (20 lbs max weight)
  • Additional costs apply for extra baggage      
Not Included:
  • Lodging in Pemberton or Whistler prior to your arrival (we can help arrange this)
  • Any specialty or alcoholic beverages
  • You may bring drinks within luggage weight limits or pay extra for additional weight allowances
