Soundscapes is a hiking trip with a live music twist. A unique concept to bring live music to our remote backcountry lodge for acoustic sets in an intimate setting.
Our feature artist for 2024 is Emmett Jerome, a talented musician and singer-songwriter from the Western Canada who has established himself in the music industry as a captivating performer with a world weary voice wise beyond his years.
Emmett is heavily influenced by the blues. He firmly believes there is a stream that flows through all music that originates somewhere in the blues. Emmett was raised playing B.B King, John Lee Hooker, and Elmore James and still draws inspiration from these roots. Sample his musical stylings with his new song “Rocky Mountain Son”.
Emmett Jerome is one of the most exciting young musicians to come out of Western Canada that earned him a devoted following. His warm energy, vocal skills and acoustic guitar sets are perfect for Whitecap Soundscapes.
Trust us. This is going to be good.
Guests can expect the regular programming for hiking, one in-the-field set and a final evening performance from Emmett Jerome at the lodge.
