Nestled between the Monashee and Selkirk mountain ranges, Revelstoke has long been known as an epicentre for Canadian ski touring, split boarding and mountaineering. Defined by soaring peaks, champagne pow, and some of the best tree skiing in the world, the terrain surrounding this classic B.C. town has become infamous amongst the backcountry setting.
We are partnering with The Copeland to offer a guided Revelstoke touring experience that will knock your merino wool compression socks off. Located in the heart of downtown Revelstoke, The Copeland provides an authentic combination of old-world charm and new-world amenities, providing guests with a vibrant and unique hub to rest and recharge for the adventures that await.
This private group experience will include four nights of accommodation, three full days of skiing, breakfast, lunch, après, and concierge service. Each day’s backcountry skiing/ snowboarding adventure will be guided by one of our fully certified ACMG guides and curated to meet your group’s goals.
The lovely staff at The Copeland will also be on call to facilitate rentals, dining recommendations and anything else they can do to ensure your trip runs smoothly.

A $200 deposit, per person, is required at the time of booking. This is non-refundable. The full amount is then due 4 weeks before arrival. If cancelled between 4 weeks and 72 hours, 50% is refundable. If cancelled within 72 hours it’s non-refundable. There are no refunds given for weather delays or acts of force majeure. Credit card processing fees may apply.
Most likely you will be guided by a familiar Whitecap face! Many of our guides are either based in Revy or have spent a ton of time there. Local knowledge is key here. It is also possible to request a particular Whitecap guide.
It will depend on where you are coming from. If you are driving, we have ample parking at The Copeland, located in the centre of downtown Revelstoke. If you are flying, the easiest airport to fly into is Kelowna. We can make recommendations for airport transfer options, such as Everything Revelstoke.
The Copeland is located on 400 MacKenzie Avenue – on the corner of 3rd street and MacKenzie! This is a central location in the downtown hub of Revelstoke.
This will depend on conditions. The main objective and crown jewel of the area is skiing in the iconic Roger’s Pass. There are also countless other options to explore in the area.

Yes! We can can arrange a helicopter for a bump into the alpine or arrange snowmobiles to access some great terrain (for an additional cost)

You will need a full to bring your full ski touring/ splitbording set up backcountry safety equipment and your normal skiing/ snowboarding clothes.

With the energy you have left at the end of the day, there are an amazing array of restaurants, art galleries, artisan craft stores and museums to visit. You might also find it fun to catch a local hockey game in town.

Steeped in authenticity, The Copeland’s McCarty House dates back to 1900 when it was constructed for the infamous Mayor of Revelstoke, Frank McCarty. The revamped heritage building is now an elegant home away from home for outdoor enthusiasts, mountain aficionados and discerning travellers.

It is true that the approaches in Roger’s Pass can be challenging and the snowpack complex. However, your guide is an expert at navigating these factors, which will help you maximise your time there.
A winter permit is required by each person to ski in Roger’s Pass. You can apply for this free permit online, here. It is advised that guests apply for their permits in advance, so as to not slow down the ski day.
The maximum group number for our Revelstoke trip is six guests. With four guests on a trip, each guest will get their own room. With 5 or 6 guests, a couple of the rooms will need to be shared.
We recommend that all guests purchase travel insurance, including trip interruption, cancellation insurance, and ensure you are comfortable with the level of medical and evacuation insurance included in your policy. For most insurance companies there is a time limit between when you purchase insurance and when you make the first payment for your booking.
