We will meet in Marrakesh and take off for 10 days of skiing in Morocco; exploring the High Altas mountains (peaks over 4000m) and skiing African Snow. This trip will consist of a mix of day skiing and a 4-5 day hut-to-hut expedition with porters into the heart of the less traveled M’Goon Massif that rises to 4067m out of the Happy Valley. Explore the traditional lifestyle of local Berbers and use donkeys to access the snow line.
This trip has room for 6 guests.

This is a true adventure! The skiing we do in Morroco is all human powered, for this reason and the fact that the days are long, we recommend this trip to experienced backcountry skiers with intermediate to advanced skiing / snowboarding abilities and good fitness levels. Ideally, you have been ski touring throughout the winter to be comfortable on a number of full days out!
Backcountry safety skills are required.

We strongly recommend that all guests purchase trip cancellation insurance and most
importantly trip medical and evacuation insurance.
We also do recommend that all guests purchase medical insurance and evacuation insurance if you
do not already have a policy. The specific is evacuation and repatriation insurance coverage, most travel policies do not cover this, please check with your provider to see if you are covered. If you are injured while skiing in Japan and need to be evacuated to a higher level of care, the evacuation expense is to be covered by the injured party. Basic travel insurance does not cover this and we want to ensure that you are adequately protected in the event of an injury.
We highly recommend our insurance partner https://www.globalrescue.comfor our international insurance
needs. They provide comprehensive medical, evacuation and repatriation coverage. Please go to our Whitecap link here https://ss.globalrescue.com/partner/whitecap/index.htmlread through the information and details and lock in a policy that works for you. Please let us know if you have any questions or concerns.
