Girls Do Ski Japan

Once again Whitecap Alpine has partnered with our favourite female crew- Girls Do Ski– to indulge in Japow. Mark your calendars and book your flights because we’ll be shredding Jan. 5-12th in Hakuba. The trip will include private coaching by professional skier Leah Evans, in which she will focus on bringing you to the next level physically and mentally. This trip will be open to advanced and expert skiers who love to ski in the backcountry. What does that mean? We’ll be traveling in our van to the chase the powder in the Hakuba area, using the lifts to access the backcountry and touring to those amazing Japan powder stashes. Let us take away the hassle of traveling and allow you to focus on the zen of ski touring, skiing, eating ramen and soaking in onsens (natural hot springs).

What will the camp look like?

Jan 5th: Welcome Dinner at Morino Lodge
Jan 6th: Avalanche Rescue training and intro to backcountry touring in the area
Jan 7-11th: Skiing, touring and onsen (and repeat)
Jan 12th: Pack Roller bags and fly home
