Big Mountain Glamping

Every spring we head out into the wild, remote mountains to set up base camp and ski. This year we will fly into the Manatee Glacier in BC’s Coast Range. Our base camps are well-stocked, with multiple space domes for socializing and private tents for sleeping – this is glamping in the finest sense. This year we will set up shop on the Manatee Glacier in BC’s Coast Mountains.

This trip has room for 6 guests.

This trip is for advanced to expert skiers who are comfortable and experienced spending time in the backcountry. Good fitness is required to make the most of your trip. You will be camping in the snow – adventurous souls only!

Backcountry safety and mountaineering skills are required.

Whitecap and Whitecap International cannot make exceptions to the cancellation policy for any reason, including personal emergencies and weather.

All cancellations must be received in writing. If we receive your cancellation more than 10 weeks prior to the start of your trip, you have two options:

a) We are happy to rebook your reservation if you find an alternative date of the same season at Whitecap and McGillivray Pass Lodge, or Whitecap International.

b) We provide a full refund, less a $400 administration fee

If notice is received less than 10 weeks prior to the starting date, no money will be refunded.

For more information about our cancellation policy, please contact us by calling toll-free at 1.604.862.9757 or by email at info(at)whitecapalpine.ca

We strongly recommend that all guests purchase trip cancellation insurance and most importantly trip medical and evacuation insurance. Evacuation insurance can be purchased from Whitecap upon booking your trip.

We also do recommend that all guests purchase medical insurance and evacuation insurance if you
do not already have a policy. The specific is evacuation and repatriation insurance coverage, most travel policies do not cover this, please check with your provider to see if you are covered.

We recommend purchasing our $50 evacuation insurance upon booking your trip to cover the costs of helicopter flights in the case of emergency.
